Yet after all of the above I still get these errors.Īll other Flightsim related programs install no problem. The above procedures I`ve done a couple of times !! Ran Win 10 Updates and are up to date currently Did a search for FSX in the registry no sign of it. Have downloaded a registry cleaner and fixed registry errors. I have deleted all traces of FSX in all the folders: Cdrive ProgramData folder in the Roaming folder where the cfg is normally stored my documents the works. This is supposed to reset the Windows Installer which seems to be causing the errors in the first place. I have downloaded the KB928080 file and ran it. Not a possibility for me as I have not received the Win 10 installation disks for the laptop.

Installed and ran like a dream, no problems The first time I installed it there were no issues. Without making a long story I had to reinstall my FSX on Windows 10. I am at my limit of frustration with this error.
